Wadebridge is a wonderful community and Our Christmas Weekend encapsulates what shopping locally can really offer.
It’s not just the fact that we have one of the largest selection of independent shops selling quality unique presents, but also we want to make it a really enjoyable social experience.
Christmas is all about family, friends and the community coming together and putting a smile on everyone’s face. Times maybe tough but we are keen to make this year’s festive season a good one, so we’re asking everyone to come into the town over the weekend and enjoy it, and do some shopping!
From everyone at the Chamber of Commerce – Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
We would like to thank The Co-Op, Wadebridge Town Council and Cornwall Council for their support in providing free car parking in the co-op car park all weekend. Also to the Town Council for taking over responsibility for the Christmas lights, and to Davey Electrical who look after the lights.
From 4pm: Craft Market - food and crafts market in Wadebridge Town Hall and throughout Saturday, bringing you a selection of unique and often homemade
gifts and produce.
6pm: Santa arrives on steam engine on the piazza, Eddystone Road, where there are also rides and candy floss.
Around 8.15pm: Fireworks: an even bigger display this year from Celebration Fireworks. Gather on the bridge to get the best view.
Mid Morning to Mid Afternoon: More music, and shopping!
Return of the Santa Fun Run!
One shorter and one longer course, starting from the Langueux Circle in Jubilee Park (next to Co-op car park).
