Shop ‘Til You Drop!
Late night shopping is on Friday 15th until at least 8.00pm, and with many shops also open later on Saturday and throughout the weekend, you can get all of your Christmas shopping done in one go!
Perfect for finding those presents for friends and relations, and for staying inside your budget,
Friday evening reaches a climax at around 8.15pm with a truly spectacular fireworks display from Celebration Fireworks. Gather on the bridge as they light up the Camel in splendiferous explosions of colour.
Town Hall Markets
This year we are delighted to have a food and crafts market in Wadebridge Town Hall from 4pm on Friday and throughout Saturday, bringing you a wonderful selection of unique and often homemade gifts and produce.
He arrives by steam engine at the Piazza, Eddystone Road at 6pm. So put a smile on your little one’s face and re-kindle the magic of Christmas! Also in Eddystone Road: rides, candy floss and more, becomes a children’s heaven!
Free Car Parking
Wadebridge Town Council and the Co-op have kindly made parking free in the co-op car park all weekend from 4pm on Friday until midnight on Sunday.
(But it’s always nice to just walk into town...)
Note: only applies to Co-op car park. Check with parking rules in other locations.
Life’s Better to Music
Time To Shine, a dozen four to eight-year olds who charmed audiences at The Big Lunch, Rock Oyster, Cornwall Folk Festival to mention a few recent appearances, will sing a selection of festive songs from the 70s onwards outside Caraways in Polmorla Walk from 5pm.
Elsewhere throughout the town will be local buskers and bands, including a stage outside the Molesworth Arms, the massd voices of In-Tune choir, and the rich, mellow tones of the Wadebridge Town Band.
Close-harmony trio Skylark turn folk and classical songs into angelic delights, and Pirate Radio’s rocking roadshow puts down anchor in Molesworth St.
The streets are alive to the sounds all over town – from Polmorla Walk to the Piazza.
